I have spent many hours with my Dad going for drives and looking for animals and birds to take pictures of because he much prefers to take pictures of animals and birds than scenery. At first, I thought I preferred that at well. Lately, though, I have been looking at the photos I have taken over the years and I find so much more satisfaction in the scenery photos than the wildlife photos. I'm sure it is obvious to a professional that I am mostly self taught but I get so much pleasure out of documenting the beauty of God's creation when I come across it. I am so thankful to have been raised in the province of British Columbia and even more thankful to have grown up in the stunning Bulkley Valley.
