My name is Melissa. I am currently in Grade 12 and for my Graduation Capstone project I made this website. I am the oldest of five kids and have two wonderful parents. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing piano, and of course, photography. 

 I have been so blessed to grow up in the beautiful Bulkley Valley. Many of my photos show the stunning scenery that I get to see every day. Very few of them capture what it actually looked like in real life but I do the best I can.  I love taking pictures of God's creation because when I look the beauty around me I can't help but think, "What an awesome God we have!!!" As Psalm 19:1 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." I am filled with this same sense of awe when I take pictures of animals and birds. Not two species are alike and yet there are so many. I think that the variety in the wildlife shows God's creativity. We can learn so much about God by looking at what he has made. Job 12:7-8 says, "But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; And the fish of the sea  will declare to you." I can take no credit for the beauty shown in my photos. That belongs to God alone who created the heavens and the earth.
